Part 2/13:
One of the most frustrating aspects of this ongoing saga is how predictable the Yankees’ postseason struggles have become. The team often arrives at October with high hopes, only to be eliminated in painfully one-sided series. The recent series against Toronto epitomized this, with the Yankees looking like a vastly inferior team, often overwhelmed by Toronto’s pitching staff. The series was a blowout, with the Yankees never appearing close to winning more than a game or two, and the losses felt even more humiliating because of the disparity in quality on the field.
