Corporate Involvement and Anti-Centralization
A common concern is that large corporate treasuries owning significant Ethereum holdings might centralize the network. Tom Lee counters this by citing research indicating that ownership concentration at around 10% can actually strengthen the network rather than weaken it. These holdings, dispersed among hundreds of thousands of shareholders and staked responsibly, serve as a form of "institutional reinforcement"—adding security and stability rather than diluting decentralization.
