The rear design maintains the familiar taillight shape, but the seamless light bar of previous models is replaced with a singular, plastic-covered tail light housing, removing the light bar feature altogether. The rear glass remains largely unchanged, with a curved edge and a one-piece liftgate resembling the premium versions.
Inside, the cabin reflects Tesla's minimalist philosophy but with notable cost reductions. The rear seats, made of a textile material similar to that found in the Cybertruck, replace the premium vegan leather that is standard on higher trims. This fabric is reportedly more durable and easier to clean, especially handy for families with children, though it feels slightly rougher to the touch.
