The explosion's force was so intense that residents several miles from the site could hear and feel its impact. Witnesses reported hearing a loud boom, with some residents experiencing their homes shaking and power fluctuations as a result. One resident, Tammy Clark, who lives just three miles from the facility, recounted waking up to the deafening noise, describing her home trembling and her power going in and out.
Debris from the blast was found up to four miles away from the explosion site, highlighting the magnitude of the force released. Security footage captured at least one home roughly 11 miles from the plant clearly shows the blast's severity.
