The express lanes continue to operate under a reversible lane system, presently configured for outbound traffic. This means that drivers wishing to utilize these lanes must enter either from the main line or via the Ontario feeder. This setup is a strategic measure to optimize lane capacity during peak hours, though it requires drivers to be attentive to lane designations to avoid confusion or congestion.
New Openings for Local Commuters
In addition to changes on the main express lanes, four new lanes are set to open in the northern corridor, providing much-needed relief for local commuters. These additional lanes are part of ongoing infrastructure improvements aimed at enhancing traffic flow and reducing bottlenecks in the area.
