When she was about 17, she returned to Japan for a second visit, this time attending the film's awards ceremony. She won the Best Actress award—an accolade she was proud of, especially since Robert Redford had won Best Actor that year but didn't attend. Transitioning to Television and Further Acting Work
Back in the UK, she continued her acting career with roles on ITV and other television work, including a series for WT and further short films. During this time, she also pursued formal education, taking O-levels, and later traveling to Benidorm and other holiday destinations before returning to acting projects.
