Part 3/12:
Born and raised in California—Santa Ana and Anaheim—Bill Medley's journey into music began with modest beginnings. As a teenager in the early 1960s, he formed a rock and roll group called The Paramours, while his friend Bobby Hatfield had a group named The Variations. Their shared passion and talent soon caught the attention of a mutual friend working in Las Vegas, who envisioned creating a band that could thrive in the bustling entertainment scene.
The formation of their legendary duo, The Righteous Brothers, was born out of this collaboration. Despite initial doubts about their partnership, the harmonious voices of Medley and Hatfield would go on to revolutionize the sound of the 1960s, blending rhythm and blues with raw emotion.
