Defensively, the Bears appeared disorganized and inconsistent, often out of position and unable to contain Detroit’s explosive offense. Injuries didn't help, but even with personnel shifts, the lack of discipline was glaring. Jim Miller, the voice of reason on the panel, emphasized that undisciplined play and poor execution are systemic issues that need urgent correction. He pointed out that the interior of the offensive line was particularly disappointing, allowing pressure on Caleb Williams and contributing to the offensive struggles.
