Beningo recounts the Jets' coaching carousel, an odyssey of well-meaning but ultimately unsuccessful leaders, from Charlie Wylie to Lou Holtz, Richie Kotite, Joe Walton, Bruce Coslett, and more recently, Robert Saleh. Despite the variety of personalities, he asserts that this season's game was perhaps the worst-coached in Jets history. The blame largely falls on defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, who, according to him, cost the team dearly with questionable decision-making, especially on offense.
