Despite lucrative deals with industry giants Nvidia and AMD, the demand for computational power has become so intense that it necessitates the creation of tailored silicon that can handle specific AI workloads more efficiently.
"We need way more compute power than we are still on trajectory to build," Brockman emphasized. He explained that the industry must innovate beyond traditional GPUs to meet the complexities of AI training and deployment at scale.
