Alice and Kevin Rotunda of Michigan found themselves in a race against time on the morning of August 11th. The couple, parents to three other children, was en route to Kalamazoo Hospital when labor intensified unexpectedly. As they drove through Schoolcraft, their contractions suddenly accelerated, and they had no choice but to pull over at a nearby McDonald's—only to find the restaurant was closed at that early hour.
