He explained that AI could help pilots by synthesizing voluminous reports and operational data into concise, manageable summaries, reducing cognitive overload and aiding decision-making during stressful situations. Similarly, AI can support air traffic controllers by mitigating burnout and improving traffic management as unmanned aerial vehicles and small vertical takeoff aircraft begin to share airspace with traditional aircraft.
