Recognizing Privilege and Purpose

Madhav Krishna, founder and CEO of Vahan.ai, opened his discourse by engaging the audience in a reflective exercise. He posed questions about their socio-economic privileges—such as having a roof over their heads, access to three meals a day, internet connectivity, and a college degree. The responses revealed that most attendees belonged to the privileged 7% of the world's population. Krishna emphasized that where one is born largely shapes their quality of life, referring to Warren Buffett’s concept of the "ovarian lottery."
