Others pointed out that India’s true strength lies in applying AI to address local needs at scale, which doesn’t always require building globe-spanning models but rather impact-driven solutions.
A keynote question was whether Indian entrepreneurs are ambitious enough. While some are inspired by global giants, others believe that a collective mindset shift toward bold, mission-driven innovation could accelerate breakthroughs. This would entail young entrepreneurs aiming not just to build startups but to solve existential challenges—similar to the approach behind companies like UPI, Aadhaar, or India Stack.
