The Brewers’ Struggles and the Dodgers’ Strengths
While the Brewers are playing respectable baseball—having scored 10 runs in the series—their offensive struggles are evident. Their campaign of trying to create chaos on the bases hasn't yielded much, partly because they can't even get on base consistently against the Dodgers’ stellar pitching staff.
On the other hand, the Dodgers have seen their pitching staff perform admirably, especially considering that many of their key players were injured during the regular season. They have effectively built up their roster, bringing everyone back healthy just in time for the playoffs. Otani has been prepared to deliver at critical moments, and Sasaki, who was injured most of the year, has returned to close games with un-hittable performance.
