Data as a Precious Resource
The analogy begins with viewing data as drops of water falling from the sky. Each drop holds inherent value, just like data points generated through various processes and interactions. Collecting these drops over time results in a flood, which can be captured and stored in a reservoir — or what is known in data management as a Data Lake.
