Penrose’s line of reasoning challenges the assumption that extra dimensions remain hidden because they require enormous energy to excite. He argues that this overlooks the fact that, since these dimensions are everywhere, total energy calculations might not be enough to dismiss their vibrational effects. Instead, the relevant measure would be the energy confined within specific regions of spacetime. If vibrations in extra dimensions are occurring across the universe, why have we not detected any consequences?
