The team reoriented their approach to focus on the future state of each function, emphasizing three pillars: experience, effectiveness, and efficiency. This strategic shift encouraged functions to prioritize what they wanted to solve, for whom, and what business impact it would generate.
As vision documents poured in, interdependencies between functions emerged. Recognizing that AI solutions would need to be interconnected across the entire value chain, the organization understood that isolated patchworks of AI would diminish value and user experience. This reinforced the need for a holistic AI and data ecosystem, integrating process, policy, governance, and technology.
