This self-centric view is an evolutionary remnant aimed at survival, a trait that has persisted despite the rapid advancement of technology that has transformed society more quickly than human cognition has evolved. Historically, humans’ primary concern was merely making it to the next day. Modern humans, however, focus on thriving, achieving goals, and seeking fulfillment, yet their brains remain hardwired with a survival mindset rooted in perceiving everything around them through a subjective lens.
