Furthermore, individuals must reflect on their own participation in online discourse. Sharing extremist content, making glorifying merchandise, or expressing joy over violence erodes the moral fabric of our society. Leadership starts with each of us recognizing the importance of civility and moral responsibility.
Looking Forward: A Call to Action
While I don’t claim to have all the answers, I believe our collective response should be clear:
Call out evil wherever it manifests—be it in speech, online, or in action.
Enforce societal standards that reject violence and hatred.
Use technology responsibly, recognizing that AI and social media are reflections and amplifiers of societal values.
