Outsourcing to India and other countries has been a standard practice for over a decade. The “Four Hour Workweek” by Tim Ferriss, published years ago, emphasized the benefits of global labor markets. Companies like those in the US, Serbia, the Philippines, and others have long relied on international teams to cut costs and increase efficiency.
However, outsourcing presents trade-offs. While Indian workers bring skills and affordability, they might face challenges related to language barriers, cultural differences, and context understanding. Despite these issues, the quality and productivity of offshore teams have generally improved over the years.
