Precious onboard camera footage from both perspectives — from the spacecraft and the booster — has provided unprecedented views of the booster separation and ignition process. The booster’s descent and re-ignition with 12 of its 13 engines functioning was captured with remarkable stability, giving us among the clearest images of a "flip-landing" operation amid tumultuous sea conditions. The landing footage, particularly the moment the booster settles and hits the water, was dramatic and precise, with some contemplating whether the video was lost when it fell behind clouds, only to be recovered moments later in an even more spectacular shot.
