Alarmingly, about one-third of employees report actively sabotaging AI efforts—refusing to use the tools, avoiding training, or producing low-quality outputs to undermine AI’s credibility. Such behavior signals a deep-rooted resistance to change, which could have severe consequences. Organizations are well aware of this sabotage, and it’s clear that those who remain obstinate risk being left behind.
This resistance is not just about skills; it's about mindset. Refusing to learn AI tools can be compared to insisting on using a typewriter in an age of computers. The message is unavoidable—resistance is futile if you want job security, respect, and relevance.
