Protection of Taiwan: In any potential conflict over Taiwan, U.S. submarines will be vital in disrupting or neutralizing Chinese amphibious assaults. Their ability to launch a barrage of missiles and cut off Chinese supply and reinforcement routes provides a strategic advantage that Beijing cannot easily counter.
