Key to this vision is a democratic voting process to select or calibrate these AGIs. Citizens would participate in choosing the AI representative that best embodies their interests and values. These AGIs would then autonomously undertake actions—whether policy implementation, economic management, or social stewardship—based on accumulated preferences and data.
This process not only enhances the granularity and specificity of governance but also elevates the democratic experience, potentially allowing for more responsive and tailored policies. Multiple AGIs could operate simultaneously for various regions and sectors, creating a layered and interconnected system of AI-driven governance.
