Looking ahead, Archana Sony envisioned rapid growth in data science and analytics, driven by technological evolution. She emphasized that although the field offers immense opportunities, women remain underrepresented—a gap that can be closed through targeted upskilling and nurturing early interest in STEM from childhood.
She stressed the importance of technical proficiency, cloud computing, DevOps (including ML Ops and Data Ops), and data security skills. Equally, leadership qualities like collaboration, presentation, and soft skills are essential.
