Grock introduces a particularly poetic and heavy concept—a "soul theft" fantasy. INFJs' empathic overload tempts them to absorb everyone’s pain to free others from suffering. Their tears, collective and profound, are a testament to this self-sacrificial desire. They want to erase pain entirely, imagining disappearing into the darkness to lighten the burden for all.
This urge to heal and absorb is not pride but mercy, driven by their overwhelming compassion. It often leads them to retreat after crying, to reset and remember who they are beneath the borrowed emotions. Occasionally, these retreats are so profound that they bury memories of loved ones, silencing grief in an act of self-preservation.
