The payload bay section of the V3 Starship has been rolled out and inspected, revealing updates aimed at supporting long-duration missions across the solar system. Meanwhile, structural enhancements are evident on the booster front; the forward dome and hot staging truss for Booster 18 are being assembled, with reinforcement modifications to protect the upper pressure dome during engine ignition.
Ship 39's nose cone was also revealed, fitted with a new Starlink dispenser designed for sequential satellite deployment. This system uses a chain drive mechanism to eject satellites one at a time, replacing previous methods and ensuring more reliable deployment—a critical capability for future large constellations and missions.
