Part 1/14:
Unlocking the World of Intellectual Property: A Journey from Curiosity to Protection
The Spark of Curiosity and the Path to Innovation
From childhood, I was inherently curious—a girl with a map of problem-solving in my mind. This innate curiosity naturally steered me toward a career in science. During my research days, especially in my PhD, I even filed a couple of patent applications based on my own work, which sparked my interest in the intersection of science and intellectual property (IP). Life took an intriguing turn when I came across an advertisement by the Indian government inviting women scientists to become "intellectual drug dealers." This was a fascinating prospect—combining my love for science, analytical prowess, and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
