Married at 21 and starting her career as a research associate in Delhi, Sushmita’s first foray into analytics came during her tenure at GE Capital. Facing the challenge of modeling data without direct access to raw information, she learned essential skills like SQL and data management. Her pursuit of automation—learning Excel macros and VBA—dramatically reduced her workload, freeing her to focus on strategic insights.
