China’s plans extend beyond domestic repression. The government released a five-year strategy aimed at solidifying a "sinicized" form of Christianity that is aligned with communist principles. This includes organizing patriotic events, essay contests, poetry sessions, and tours promoting China's version of Christianity that emphasizes loyalty to the CCP. Churches are encouraged to hold seminars and training to develop and promote a pro-CCCP version of Christian doctrine.
