Several users report that version 13.2.2 sometimes approaches red lights, proceeds through them, or misinterprets signals, especially when signals flicker or change unexpectedly. One incident involved the car beginning to go while the traffic light was still red, prompting a manual override.
Reported cases highlight the need for better signal reading, particularly in intersections with dynamic or malfunctioning signals. Tesla's ongoing goal is to enable FSD to reliably read and interpret signage—an area still under active development.
