One of the most notable signs of FSD's humanlike evolution is its behavior at pedestrian crosswalks. In a recent demonstration, the system autonomously recognized a mother and her children waiting to cross the street. Instead of rushing through or crossing prematurely, the vehicle prudently stopped well before the crosswalk, allowing pedestrians to cross safely without needing to intervene.
Once the pedestrians had safely crossed and moved past, the vehicle began to inch forward again, as if a cautious driver would do, gradually resuming its course only when the way was clear. This level of nuanced decision-making exemplifies FSD's ability to interpret complex social cues and respond appropriately—behaviors that are essential for safe urban driving.
