Part 8/11:
Tesla’s advantage lies in their ability to collect diverse, high-quality data from a vast fleet of vehicles and their global operations. The new V12 architecture exemplifies how they aim to optimize data usage for AI improvements. Currently, Tesla is compute constrained, meaning their models can't yet harness all available data, but as training costs decrease, they plan to input ever more comprehensive datasets into their AI.
This approach will enhance FSD performance, making autonomous driving safer, more reliable, and more human-like. Similarly, their humanoid robots—initially primitive—could evolve rapidly into highly functional entities capable of performing labor-intensive tasks across industries.
