During the storm, some minor leaks and issues appeared. The builder checked for leaks around window frames and flashing, applying additional silicone where needed. He noted that most seals were holding strong, and the windows remained free of moisture, which bodes well for future waterproofing.
One persistent challenge was water seeping into certain areas because of inadequate sealing or open gaps, such as around the shovel handle or unsealed concrete. He identified these as problems to fix later—before completing the interior work—to ensure a dry and safe environment.
