The vehicle employed its latest control inputs to manage the nose-down angle and prepare for the splashdown maneuver. About five kilometers above the water, the ship executed a flip maneuver, using the Raptor engines to reorient for final descent. The onboard systems and the flaps worked in concert, guiding it towards the planned splashdown zone in the Indian Ocean off the northwest coast of Australia.
