In its final moments, Starship powered down its main engines, then reignited three of its Raptor engines for the final flip and landing burn. The descent sequence was highly monitored, with dynamic control surfaces adjusting in real-time to maintain stability. The vehicle successfully completed its descent, executing the expected flip maneuver just over a kilometer above the water surface, and touched down with a splash in daylight conditions — an incredible sight enabled by the optimal timing of the launch window for daylight re-entry and recovery.
