Yesterday, Audrey and her niece Isa responded to an urgent call and successfully rescued Pongo and Pita, two dogs with heartbreaking conditions. Both animals were found with severe mange and were heavily infested with fleas, conditions that cause significant discomfort and health risks. After their rescue, the dogs underwent immediate bathing to remove fleas and manage mange symptoms.
Although they were not happy about their baths—typical for animals in distress—the process marked the beginning of their journey toward health. Veterinary care was promptly administered, including preventatives and shots, to help boost their immune systems and prevent further infestations.
