Part 5/11:
Insulation and Climate Control
The cabin’s interior is targeted for insulation improvements. He plans to insulate an entire wall while leaving the ceiling already insulated as is. To make the space comfortable year-round, he envisions transforming the outbuilding into a functional, heated area for winter use. This includes installing new windows with screens, which would allow for ventilation and natural light, and insulating the walls to maintain warmth.
He also mentions future plans for a pet-friendly environment, noting that dogs can observe the surroundings from inside through the windows, enhancing security and comfort. The addition of blinds will offer privacy when needed, especially when the space is closed in.
