Perhaps the most consequential announcement involves Elon Musk's new role in the U.S. government, where he will lead a department titled "Department of Government Efficiency", alongside Chiraswami. Officially, Musk will not hold a formal federal position but will provide advice and guidance from outside government, circumventing traditional conflict-of-interest regulations.
