One of the most astonishing features of the Cybertruck is its HFS—Hard exactly what you think it is—an exoskeleton made of a proprietary steel alloy. Developed in-house by Tesla, this super-strong frame, which customers have nicknamed the "bulletproof" structure, offers structural rigidity surpassing that of high-performance cars like Porsche 911s. Tesla claims this exoskeleton gives the Cybertruck a steel body capable of withstanding severe crashes, with the vehicle returning to service after repairs such as replacing doors and airbags.
