Part 4/9:
Running Lines Outside for Freeze Prevention
A strategic choice is made to install some pipes on the outside of the wall. This setup allows the pipes to be covered with foam insulation, preventing freezing in a laundry room — an area that isn't refrigerated or heated consistently. The structure is designed to be practical rather than aesthetic, prioritizing functionality and future ease of access.
Room Finishing Plans
Wall and Ceiling Work
The room will be finished with sheetrock (drywall), as it is the most cost-effective option for making the space look presentable without extensive mudding or sanding initially. Future plans include adding a ceiling and flooring, which are scheduled for the upcoming weeks.
