Addressing Structural Challenges: Foundation and Framing
One of the project's main challenges involves framing the new ceiling within a tight, two-foot-wide space beneath a dilapidated foundation. The foundation itself is poorly aligned, uneven, and unstable, forcing the builder to adapt his plans accordingly. Rather than attempting to extend the dog house directly to the house, he opts to box off the area for plumbing and electrical access, accommodating the uneven footing and ensuring the structure remains functional and safe.
