Theme Parks and Creative Assets: A Key Piece
The acquisition's impact extends beyond movies and TV shows. Theme park rights, particularly for DC and Harry Potter, are hotspots of interest. NBCUniversal, which owns Universal Studios, may push to acquire Harry Potter rights to bolster their theme parks and creative offerings. Six Flags currently holds some of the licensing for Warner Brothers characters, but larger players like Universal are motivated to bring these assets in-house for bigger integration.
