In a revealing interview on NBC’s Today Show, Adam Silver addressed questions about revenue sharing. The interviewer, apparently misinformed or perhaps just uninformed, pressed Silver on whether the NBA commissioner would agree to give WNBA players a larger cut from league revenue. Silver responded diplomatically but clearly: "The share isn't the right way to look at it because there's so much more revenue in the NBA." He assured that players would see salary increases but firmly rejected the idea of revenue sharing for the WNBA.
