Part 8/10:
Tesla’s sales performance in China continues to impress. In March alone, the Tesla Model Y sold around 55,000 units, making it the best-selling vehicle for that month. Over the first quarter, the Model Y remained the top-selling vehicle across all categories in China, outperforming gas-powered and other electric vehicles even at higher price points.
In terms of market share, Tesla’s Model Y dominates, with sales figures at roughly $38,500 on the lower end, substantially surpassing competitors like Toyota and others. Tesla’s presence is so formidable that it outsells all Toyota models in Germany, a market traditionally dominated by Volkswagen and other established automakers.
