On a quiet Sunday at around 9:30 AM, the world’s most visited museum became the site of one of the most ludicrous heists in recent memory. Four masked burglars, armed with power tools and riding motorcycles and a truck fitted with a portable furniture elevator, stormed into the Louvre’s Gallery Diapoleon. Their goal? To steal priceless crown jewels and royal artifacts, including an imperial crown embedded with over a thousand diamonds.
