On the defensive end, Edgecom was tenacious, actively contesting shots and grabbing offensive rebounds, which led to second-chance points. His efforts helped maintain the Sixers’ lead, which stretched into double digits. Coach Joe Mazulu was visibly frustrated at times with lapses such as defensive rebounds, but Edgecom’s energy remained unmatched.
