Part 15/19:
On Wednesday, the U.S. Treasury Department announced blacklists of 21 entities and 17 individuals accused of aiding Iran’s missile and weapons programs. This includes efforts to procure U.S.-origin electronics and technology for advanced surface-to-air missile systems. Notably, one network was identified spanning Iran, Hong Kong, and China, smuggling American electronics to Iranian military contractors.
Another network extending from Iran through Germany, Turkey, Portugal, and Uruguay attempted to acquire a U.S.-made helicopter for Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, reflecting Iran’s ongoing efforts to sustain military aviation capabilities despite sanctions.
