The new RUSI report highlights a series of confirmed and verified contracts indicating that Russia is quietly supplying China with sophisticated military hardware. In 2023, agreements were signed to deliver a battalion’s worth of air-droppable armored vehicles, along with a suite of supporting equipment such as anti-tank weaponry, command and control systems, and advanced drones. These supplies are designed to enable rapid deployment of combat power via parachute from Russian aircraft into strategic locations near ports and airfields.
